The staff here were extremely accommodating, taking me and my family + dog in at 20 minutes notice during a snowstorm when we got stranded. Tina is beyond generous and helpful. Our room was clean, warm, and extremely comfortable. I can't recommend the Lotus enough!
I stayed at this motel for 2 nights recently and I was very pleased. I was in Cobourg to visit a relative at the hospital and the location was perfect. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable and the motel was quiet for sleeping. There is a refrig and microwave. McDonalds, Wendys and Tim Horton were right next door so very handy for quick meals. This is not a fancy motel .....but it was perfect for me. Its rated as a 2 star motel because there are no extra amenities but I would consider it a 3 star motel. The proprietor was helpful too.
Large, clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly, welcoming service, early check-in on request, very convenient, easy-to-get-to location (just south of the 401 east of Toronto), reasonable rates and a Timmy’s 2 minutes away! Lotus motel scores high on all these criteria. If you’re heading through Toronto to points east, this is the place to stop for a break or an overnight stop. It’s also in the gateway to vacation country, with Lake Ontario minutes away in the south and Rice Lake to the north. Lotus Motel scores 5 out of 5 stars all around. Very highly recommended.
It was a great stay and I would recommend it. Great access to all stores, restaurants and others. Most within walking distance. The staff are very pleasant and willing to help.
Great Motel! The manager is very polite, friendly and courteous. I am on the road a lot and this was one of the best experiences I've had. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Property is well maintained. This will be my new go to place to stay when I am in Cobourg!
Came here kindve in an emergency. After being rudely turned away from the Knights Inn in Cobourg. Horrible service... came to the Lotus motel and was greeted with a friendly smile from their great staff. The rooms were nice and clean. Smoke free and more than affordable. Highly recommend this place..
Great little spot, clean, comfy and did exactly as needed. Reasonable rates... No hair dryer in room, bring your own. The beds are comfy, I love that there is no carpets, great for folks with allergies. The coffee is an instant pkge with coffemate and sugar already mixed. Not my fave, but McDonalds and Wendys right beside. I would stay again, A decent place for sure. MC
